 | Blackboard is a Wake County Public School System program that allows teachers to create websites for their classrooms. Students must have a teacher-created account to enter this site. |
 | NC WISE OWL is a website that has, as its centerpiece, several subscription databases, and is sponsored by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction. |

| Practice placing the 50 states in their correct location. This map gives the outline of the United States. You can play with or without the state outlines. One-by-one, you need to drag the state to its correct location. This is good practice for a few reasons: the name of the state is given with the shape so you can associate the two things together, you don't see the all the states in the correct area to start with so you have to think a bit harder, and the puzzle without the state outlines really makes you recognize what the state is and picture the whole US map in your mind. The puzzles are very sensitive about placing the states in the exact spot. Drag and drop them carefully. Learn the states with this US Map Puzzle now. You'll need to download and install it. | |
